Ana Jorge lança desafio de cooperação entre países da CPLP neste período crítico  Ana Jorge, Presidente da Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa esteve presente na tomada de Posse do novo Presidente da sua congénere de Cabo Verde, Arlindo Carvalho. Da agenda fizeram parte reuniões institucionais e a visita a áreas de intervenção locais, com o propósito de consolidar o compromisso estabelecido entre as duas congéneres, estreitando laços e cooperando na criação, extensíveis aos restantes países da CPLP. Ana Jorge foi recebida pelo Chefe do Governo, Ulisses Correia e Silva, um gesto que considerou de muito simbolismo. Na qualidade de Secretária Executiva do Fórum das Sociedades Nacionais da Cruz Vermelha da CPLP e do CICV, Ana Jorge teve ainda uma audiência com o Senhor Presidente da República, José Maria Neves, onde partilhou a importância de cooperação num período crítico como o que se vive atualmente.

Mais de 150 jovens juntaram-se em Bragança para o Encontro Nacional da Juventude Cruz Vermelha   Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa já apoiou mais de 300 refugiados oriundos da Ucrânia  "Neste Encontro, a Juventude Cruz Vermelha demonstrou que é capaz de mobilizar dezenas de jovens de todo o país, motivados e preparados para assegurar a sustentabilidade e o futuro da nossa missão e valores humanitários.".   Estima-se que mais de 18 milhões de pessoas venham a precisar de ajuda humanitária. Os efeitos dos conflitos na Ucrânia estão a ser sentidos em todo o mundo e são muitas as sociedades nacionais da Cruz Vermelha que estão a ajudar as centenas de pessoas que chegam aos respetivos países, oriundas da Ucrânia.
